Bhagalpur: In a big flare up of Hindu, Muslim violence, 42 per sons were killed on October 25 in this Bihar town. On October 22, twelve persons had been killed in the state and cerfew had been imposed in several towns. The two communities are at daggers drawn over the Babri Mosque issue and the Urdu language being accorded the second language status.
In view of the decision by right wing Hindu Vishwa Parishad to go ahead with the laying of foundation stone for Ram Mandir.
