HONG KONG: Forty people died after their boat capsized in a reservoir in southeastern China, an official report said Jan.28, The China News Service said in a brief dispatch from the provincial capital of Fuzhou that 22 people survived the accident in the Mazhuping reservoir in Fujian province. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The report said the accident occurred early Monday morning when the diesel powered boat made a turn and flipped over.
