CHANDIGARH, India: Four intruders were killed and forty seven others were apprehended on Indo Pak border. A B.S.F. spokes man said that 47 persons coming from Pakistan ‘were arrested on the international border. A few freedom fighters were picked up from their hideouts

The spokesman said that out of 47 who crossed over, 24 were Sikhs and seven Bangla Delhi. They revealed that they have been pushed into India by Pakistan Officials after they had served their sentences in Mian wali jail in Pakistan.

Gunmen shot at and injured one person and looted Rs. 1 lakh from Wool Mill in past 24 hours in Punjab.

Mr. Shri Kumar of Mohallah Islamabad in Jullundur town while going to his house after closing his shop on a scooter was stopped and shot at by miscreants.
