BOMBAY: The bodies of over 95 victims of Tuesdays flash floods at Mowad township in Narkhed Taluka about 40 kms from Nagpur have been recovered while over 317 people declared missing were presumed dead state police control here said. Over 6000 people were rendered homeless in the tragedy that occurred after an embankment of the river Wardha breached due to incessant rains. Besides 636 cattle head perished and more than 2000 homes were completely damaged.

However relief work with the aid of army men SRP and locals was underway in Mowad.

 NEW DELHI: Two youth’s sprayed bullets indiscriminately on a car parked near the residence of a senior Gurdwara temple management committee official in central Delhi in broad daylight Tuesday and sped away in a two wheeler scooter police said.

No one was injured in the firing police said.
