PATNA (PTI): At least 31 people were killed in the twin tragedy of Hooch and Encephalitis during the last 48 hours in the capital of the eastern Indian state of Bihar, according to the official sources: However unofficial sources put the death toll at about 60.
The officials at the medical Camp in the worst affected Lohamipur locality of the town, said that altogether 57 cases were referred 10 the Patna medical college hospital of which 17 persons died so far.
