NEW DELHI: Around 30 million Indians suffer from diabetes but only half of them know they do, says a well-known diabetologist.
Common to both sexes, diabetes can occur even in a one day old child and the unborn child is at greater risk if the expectant mother has even mild diabetes, Srivastava told a news conference on the eve of the tenth annual convention of the diabetic self-care foundation.
