At least 30 people were reported missing after three country boats capsized in the turbulent waters of Ilisha river in Bangladesh’s southern Barisal district on Saturday, a newspaper
Although 70 men and women aboard those boats managed 10 Swim ashore, the fate of the remaining 30 was not known till late Saturday night, according to a daily “Ittefaq’.
The boats, which were ferrying the people to a spot for putting them on board a dhaka-bound vessel capsized about seven, are off Bhola town of Barisal district.
