NEW DELHI, Reuter: Some 30 people were killed when a bus plunged from a bridge over the Ganges River in northern India, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
The News Agency said about 45 passengers has been admitted to hospital. The bus was proceeding from Kanpur, a major city in Uttar Pradesh state to the town of Rae Bareli across the river.
