CHANDIGARH: Three people, including two security men were killed, three others kidnaped and a bank looted of Rs four hundred thousand in Punjab.
Reports said Harjinder Singh, a special police officer, and Balwinder Singh, a home guard jawan, were gunned down in Tarn Taran police district.
Gunmen forcibly took the two victims from their houses and shot them dead. Twelve empty cartridges of an Ak47 assault rifle were recovered from the spot.
Six armed men forced their entry into the house of a person identified as Amrik Singh in Amritsar district and shot dead his wife. Empty cartridges of Ak47 and 7.62 mm rifles were recovered from the spot.
They forcibly entered the house to Surmukh singh, and kidnaped him. along with his father, Dalip Singh and son, Harminder Singh.
