TORONTO: When the 23hour television show went off the air at 7 p.m., more than $3.6 million had been pledged in Ontario to help the people with muscular dystrophy, This was slightly more than the last year. The TY production was broadcasted from the airport Hilton Hotel with traditional updates from the Las Vegas Jerry Lewis telethon for muscular dystrophy. About 20 local celebrities shared the hosting of the event.
