HYDERABAD (PTI): Twenty eight passengers were killed when a Andhra Pradesh state road trans port corporation bus plunged into Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad late Aug.22 night, Five persons including the bus conductor swam to safety and were hospitalized, police said. The bus, after crossing a 1.5 km long tank bund, hit the pavement and fell into the lake.
According to eye witnesses, the driver swerved suddenly to avoid a boy and a buffalo.
