SRINAGAR: Fifty two. persons including 25 militants and three Pakistani infiltrators were killed and several others including four Army personnel injured in different incidents of violence in Jammu and Kashmir since last week, while Minister for Internal Security, Rajesh Pilot, last week, expressed concern over the failure of the Jammu and Kashmir administration to take follow up action on various announcements made by him aimed at bringing normalcy in the troubled state.
“If proper follow up action is not taken, then what is the use of my coming often to the state,’ the Minister told a high level meeting of senior officers.
Meanwhile, Security forces also captured 21 militants including a self-styled chief of the outlawed pro Pakistani Hizbul Mujahideen.
