NEW DELHI(PTI): Twenty persons were killed, in Punjab last week, Gurial Singh alias Lali, chief of Khalistan Commando Force (Yadu group), a militant outfit who camed a reward OF Rs 10 lakh on his head, was among seven militants killed in separate incidents of violence in Punjab from Saturday night, police reports said on Sunday, Lali was killed in an encounter with a police Naka party near Phidde drain bridge crossing in Ferozepur district.
According to the Be Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Mustafa, Lali Was involved in scores of incidents Punjab and areas in Uttar Pradesh like pillibhit, national rampur and terai region.
