MANDI (HIMACHAL PRADESH): At least 20 persons were feared killed when three houses collapsed in Mandi and Hari pur districts of Himachal Pradesh following heavy rains last week, according to police.
Eight bodies had been recovered so far and efforts were on to recover more bodies.
Five persons were feared killed at TikkerKhail village in Mandi district and three died in Zonal hospital area of Mandi town in house collapse incidents. One body each at TikkerKhail and Mandi town had been recovered from the debris while efforts were on to retrieve more bodies.
Meanwhile, a report from Hamirpur said at least 12 persons _were feared buried alive in Nadara village4in Hamirpur district. Six bodies had so far been recovered.
