BOMBAY: In a daring daylight dacoity a gang of six robbed gold ornaments weighing 17 kgs valued at more than Rs 5.5 million from a jeweler’s shop near Matunga railway station central Bombay.
According to police the dacoits armed with choppers and revolvers -dumped the booty ina gunny bag and made good their escape in a waiting car.
At the time of dacoity five customers including four women the manager two servants and an accountant of the shop were present.
