CHANDIGARH: Gunmen gunned down 16 persons and seriously injured three others in a factory in Ghawaden Kothi in Sangrur district in Punjab. Official reports reaching the state headquarters here said that a group of gunmen went to a factory in village Ghawaden Kothi and fired indiscriminately, killing at least 16 persons on the spot and injuring three others..
The assailants later escaped under cover of darkness.
