DHAKA: At least 150 passengers were feared drowned when a motor launch sank after colliding head on with a cargo vessel in the river Sitalakhya near Munshiganj district launch terminal, 20 km from here Sunday, and press reports said.
The accident occurred when the ill-fated motor launch “Azmeri” with 200 passengers on board’ on its way to Munshigany came in the way of three cargo vessels coming from the opposite direction.
