AJMER, (PT): Twelve pilgrims were killed and 15 others injured when a private bus carrying them collided head-on with a truck near Parhatsar, 70 kms from Ajmeer in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan June 1, the police said: Five passengers died on the spot, while seven persons succumbed to their injuries in the Parbatsar and the Nehru hospital here, 1 police said. The pilgrims were returning from Pushkar after taking “Amavasya Bath when the mishap occurred

Other injured have been admitted to the Nehru hospital, the police added.
