KANPUR, U.P., and India: At least 12 persons, including some policemen, were injured during an hour-long pitched battle between Congress (I) workers and supporters of former Defence Minister V.P. Singh near Phool Bahg, the venue of the Jan Morcha public meeting here.
More than six vehicles parked at the site were damaged.
