In yet another encounter an unidentified militant was killed near village Ahmedpur.

Two militants Harbans Singh and Kamailjit Singh were killed in a clash near Kharar in Ropar district.

Reports here said an unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with security forces while another shot dead near a drain bridge at Khalchian in Majitha police district.

Militants shot dead Balbir Singh a Punjab police constable and injured another village Samind Garh under Dhuri police station area of Sangrur district Sunday night.

In another incident militants broke into the house of one Kabal Singh in village Khelan in Jalandhar district and shot him and his uncle Gurmail Singh dead.

Rajinder Singh of Kaulsar Mohalla in the same district was gunned down by militants who also shot at and injured Rajinder’s mother and sister.

Assailants shot dead a Sikh priest Kishan Singh in the Kartarpur area of Jalandhar. They also shot dead two women Sarla Devi and Runa Malhan in the same area.
