PATNA: Ten Harijans were killed and another was injured in two separate attacks by unidentified assailants in northern Indian Bihars Gaya district Monday night, according to the police.

Six persons were killed in a village under Belgian police station and four others in Barsima village under Tekari police station, the additional inspector general (law and order), Arun Chaudhry, told PTL Tuesday.

Senior police officials have rushed to the villages to supervise combing operations.
