FRESNO,CA: A clerk at a local convenience store was Killed and another injured in a shooting last Tuesday night. Mr. Amrik Singh Kang died from multiple gunshot wounds, His body was found behind the counter in a pool of blood by his friend Mr. Jagjit Singh,
Another clerk was also injured and was taken to a local hospital. His condition is reported to be stable,
After hearing the gunshots, Jagjit Singh who was working at a nearby liquor store, called 911. The motive for shooting p pears to be robbery.
In another similar but unrelated shooting at a family run convenience store, a clerk Mr. Balbir Singh was injured badly. He was found profusely bleeding by the police.
The two suspects wearing ski masks were seen running away with the cash. This shooting occurred last Monday in Dinuba, a small town near Fresno, Mr. Balbir Singh is the second person in the family shot at their store. His relative Mr. Bawa Singh was shot and Killed in 1994.
